Celebrate Pro Bono 2023 with Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Services
The Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service, a nonprofit focused on providing free legal help for Marylanders in need, approached us to create a special video for their annual Celebrate Pro Bono event. The video honored Curtis Cooper, who was awarded a 2023 law firm of the year, and from Natushia Lewis-Smith who worked with MVLS to win her case. While focusing on both Curtis and Natushia, we were also able to successfully showcase the passion and dedication of the MVLS team to a larger supportive audience at their gala, and to raise critical funds to provide justice for all.
Filming a micro documentary is a labor of love. It's a collaborative endeavor that requires passion, dedication, and a commitment to authenticity. From the initial spark of inspiration to the final frame, it's a journey filled with challenges and rewards, but ultimately, it's the opportunity to shine a light on untold stories and amplify voices that might otherwise go unheard. We want to extend many thanks to our collaborative partners at MVLS, Katie Sutton and Susan Francis for their hard work envisioning this video, and for trusting us to execute it.
