We love collaborating with creative institutions that inspire us — and our work with the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) on their holiday video was no exception. Capturing the spirit and vibrancy of the MICA community during the holiday season was an exciting challenge, and we’re thrilled to share some behind-the-scenes insights into how we brought this festive vision to life.

For the past four years we've had the pleasure of collaborating with the creative minds in the Maryland Institute College of Art's Strategic Communications department to produce a holiday video. The themes usually center on past reflections of the year, positive wishes for the future, and encouragement for the audience – which is a vast community of MICA's current students, alumni, faculty, staff, and supporters.

While in the past the holiday video has used motion graphics and animation to provide the narrative, this year we were thrilled to collaborate with one of MICA's rising seniors, who provided a beautiful illustration as the backbone of the piece. With guidance from Christian Lallo, VP of Strategic Communications at MICA, the Human Being Productions team was able to push our creative boundaries and truly produce a little bit of magic for the new year.
